This always popular concert will include a selection of solo and chamber works, with Mendelssohn’s monumental Octet in E-flat Major forming the heart of the programme, showcasing the talents of some of the finest young musicians from around the globe.
Zuill Bailey is a masterful giver of masterclasses bringing the audience a process of developing a performance. With limited time at his disposal, he assesses a participant’s performance and then takes one aspect with each to work together on. Always a fascinating experience.
