In Partnership with the Merton Music Foundation
Over 3,000 Merton schoolchildren will experience a lively, interactive concert from Stringfever – the UK’s premier electric string quartet. As comedian Paul Merton says, ‘Their combination of music and comedy is so potent.’ With over 2,000 performances across 40 countries, their unique blend of virtuosic playing and sharp comic timing offers an unforgettable introduction to classical music. This performance follows months of classroom engagement through bespoke educational videos.
The Festival’s partnership with Merton Music Foundation continues in March 2026, with 1,500 Merton children from mainstream, SEND and particularly disadvantaged backgrounds set to perform at the Royal Albert Hall.
