CHANGE OF ARTIST Tuesday 13 November: CHRISTOPHE ROUSSET St John's Church 7.30pm

Christophe Rousset

We have the unforeseen opportunity to welcome the great and internationally renowned French harpsichordist Christophe Rousset. He has kindly agreed at short notice to replace Mahan Esfahani, who sadly has had to withdraw for personal reasons.

Whilst we will miss our friend Mahan, we are indeed fortunate to have such a remarkable and distinguished musician to draw on. Christophe is a specialist in the works of François Couperin and Jean Phillipe Rameau, and the founder and conductor of the celebrated ensemble Les Talens Lyriques.

Christophe Rousset's programme is as follows:

Premier Livre de pièces de clavecin (1713) – Deuxième Ordre (extraits)
