Our annual celebration of the viola is with French violist Antoine Tamestit, one of the supreme players in the world.

Antoine Tamestit has been described as possessing ‘a flawless technique, and combines effortless musicality with an easy communicative power’ (Bachtrack). As an organist and harpsichordist Masato Suzuki’s relationships with Bach Collegium Japan and ensembles such as Sette Voci and Vox Luminis have taken him to major concert venues and festivals across Europe and the US.
